About Field of Flours Bakery

My 
Story

Field of Flours has been a long time coming! I started dabbling in baking around 2015 when my husband and I bought our first house.  My husband got me a mixer (which I still use!) for an anniversary gift and that was all the encouragement I needed to jump-start my passion.  I started out baking for neighbors and friends and word started to spread.

Throughout the years, I continued acquiring fun equipment and materials to keep my hobby going.  It wasn't until recently when I was trying to figure out the next step in my career, my husband said, "I think you should go for it on your own," and that's when Field of Flours Bakery became a concrete idea.  

I became more and more excited about the idea of opening an official home bakery, which is how I knew it was the right decision for me.

Some of my favorite items to bake are thick gourmet cookies, cakes, and brownies.  Where I feel really creative is decorating!  I absolutely love decorating cupcakes, sugar cookies, and cakes. 

 

I draw a lot of inspiration from nature like flowers, gardens, birds, coral reefs, etc.  Because I have two children, I have grown to really enjoy children's themes like dinosaurs, minions, Peter Rabbit, etc.
